Obituary for Alma Lene White
Funeral services for Alma Lene Pecanty White, 89 of Jonesville, LA will be held at Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville at 11AM on Thursday, August 24, 2023 with Bro. Bruce Lofton officiating. Interment will follow at Palo Alto in Mayna, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Alma Lene was born on Monday, July 30, 1934 in Monterey, LA and passed away Monday, August 21, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was a great friend, always lending a helping hand without expecting anything in return. Alma Lene was a loving wife, wonderful mother, and grandmother. She took care of her family and was always there when needed. She will be missed by everyone that new her.
She is reunited with her husband, Carlton "Sugarcane" White; parents, Louie Pecanty and Myrtle Pecanty Trisler; stepfather, Harvey Trisler; and grandson, Lee Edwards.
Those left behind to cherish Alma Lene's memories are her son, Harvey Ray White of Jonesville, LA and daughter, Donna Faye Cotton & her husband Henry of Jonesville, LA.
Those honoring Mrs. Alma Lene as pallbearers are Nap Book, Jr., Rocky White, Ervin White, Lee Marvin Trisler, Dane Paul, and Curtis Ellard.
The family will receive friends at Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville on Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 9AM until service time at 11AM.
