Funeral services for Annie Ruth Mott Cay, 85, of Jonesville, LA will be held at Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 11AM with Dr. Philip Caples officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Whitehall, LA, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Annie was born on Saturday, July 31, 1937 in Concord, TX and passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in Alexandria, LA. She was a true caregiver all her life; not only for her family, but as a sitter and nurses aid for 20 years. Annie made friends everywhere she went, and they were her "Baby". She will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is reunited with her husband, James Corbett Cay, Jr.; parents, Burton Mott and Beatrice Ruthie Harvey Mott; sons, Keith Cay and Dennis Cay; daughters, Terresa Cay and Vanessa Cay; grandson, Morgan Cay; and brother, Burton Delton Mott; and sisters, Jackie Hyde and Lou Evans.
Those left behind to cherish Annie's memories, daughter, Pamela Cay & her husband DeWayne "Boo" Mason of Enterprise, LA; son, Kenny Cay & his wife Lisa of Jonesville, LA; daughter, Toni Cay of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Boo Breland & Brittany, Johnnie Breland & Scott, Steven Winborne, Derick Mason, Emily Cay, Jeffery Ryan & Christa, Jared Ryan & Lisa, Stani Tolbert & Jason, Jeremiah Westerman; great-grandchildren, Dillon Ward, Cheyenne Ward, Payton Ryan, Gabriel Ryan, Mikey Ryan, Makenna Breland, Elijah Breland, Dakota Breland, Cayden Breland, Cayli Winborne, Carmen Winborne, and Carli Windborne; brother, Johnny Thomas Mott; sisters, Glenda Nolan, Myrtle Inez Mott, Nelda Jean Trotter; brother, Royce "Bubba" Mott & his wife Ruth; sister, Delouise "Sissy" Carter; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
