Obituary for Bebe Joy "Boo" Patten
Funeral services for Bebe Joy "Boo" Patten, 78, of Jonesville, LA will be held at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 10AM with Rev. Joel Ford officiating. Interment will follow at Heard Cemetery in Manifest, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home - Jonesville.
Bebe was born on Monday, April 05, 1943 in Jonesville, LA. and passed away Sunday, December 05, 2021 at her daughter's home in Pineville, LA. She spent her life being a mother, whether it was her own kids or kids at school. Bebe was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and so much more. She was all around an amazing woman that was there for anyone. Bebe will surely be missed by everyone who had the opportunity to know her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Patten; parents, Alfred Grant and Estelle Bass Grant; four brothers, Gerald Grant, Jerry Grant, Willie Grant, Jr., and Willard Grant; and two sisters, Annette Greene and Louise Stroder.
Bebe leaves behind her two sons, Robbie Patten of Metairie, LA and Jerome Patten & his wife Sherry of Jonesville, LA; daughter, Wendy Herrington & her husband Tim of Pineville, LA; 12 grandchildren, Alisha, Jarrod, Skylar, Alex, Caleb, Joshua, A.J., Chase, Dalton, Derek, Dillon, and Presley; and 13 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, family, and family friends.
Those honoring Bebe as pallbearers will be her grandsons.
The family will receive friends at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 5PM until service time on Wednesday.
