Obituary for Bobby Holland

Funeral services for Bobbie Lee "Bob" Holland, 84, of Jonesville, LA will be held at Wallace Ridge Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tyler Stevison and Bro. Paul Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow at Harrisonburg Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Bobbie Lee Holland was born on Saturday, March 12, 1938, in Chatam, LA and passed away Friday, February 24, 2023, at LaSalle General Hospital in Jena, LA. Bob was an avid fisherman and loved to bass fish any time he could. When he wasn't able to fish, he was busy running his own parts business. Bob owned and operated Jonesville Motor Supply in Jonesville, LA for 18 years. He also did mechanic work on outboard motors as a hobby that quickly earned him the title of being one of the best outboard mechanics around.
Bob proudly served his Country as 2nd Class Airman in the United States Air Force as a Jet aircraft mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Cleda Hearn Holland, mother-in-law, Mae Coleman, Son, Tracy Holland, and brothers, Ralph, and Gary Holland.

Those left to cherish His memory are his Wife of 44 years, Reedie Holland, daughter, Tonya Womack (John) of Wallace Ridge, LA, son, Jason Holland (Crista) of Jena, LA, daughters, Pam Ruzek (Petr) of Elm Grove, LA, and Sarita Holland of Jonesville, LA, two sisters, Kathy Johnson (Jackie) of Eureka Springs, CA and Debbie Sanders (Bob) of Haynesville, LA, two Brothers, Roger Holland (Angela) of Calhoun, LA and Keith Holland of West Monroe, LA, and his Daughter-in-law, Sarita Holland.

He is also survived by grandsons, Brian, Blake, Jared, Cohen and Canaan Holland and granddaughters, Emily Womack, and Ayva Ford.

Pallbearers will be Brian Holland, Blake Holland, Jared Holland, and nephews Nick and Adam Holland and Chad Sanders.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Holland, Josh Holland, Cale Sanders, Chance Sanders, Steve Gibson, Louie Brown, Joel Burnham, Britt Case, Sambo Hudson.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 27, 2023, at Wallace Ridge Pentecostal Church from 5PM until 8PM and form 12 until 2PM Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
