Funeral services for Bonnie Lois Williams, 77, of Harrisonburg, LA will be held at Young's Funeral Home Jonesville at 11 AM on March 15th with Bro. James King officiating. A graveside service will follow at Harrisonburg Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Bonnie Lois Williams was born on Tuesday, January 25, 1944 in Harrisonburg, LA. and passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021 in her home in Harrisonburg surrounded by those who loved her. Bonnie spent many of her years in Houston,Texas with her husband Joe and their children Donna, Grover and Carol. Where she was a mother first and foremost and that was the only job she needed. She and Joe moved back to Harrisonburg in 2007 and spent their remaining years with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Columbus and Ethel Townsend; husband, Joe Williams; and grandson Jamie Lightle.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Donna Skains and her husband JR of Kingwood, TX; son, Grover Williams and his wife Valerie of Houston, TX; daughter, Carol Lightle and her husband Chris of Pooler, GA; granddaughter, Brittany Etheridge and her husband Neil of Austin, TX, granddaughter; Mallory Skains of Austin, TX; grandson; James Skains of Kingwood, TX; grandson; Jacob Lightle of Pooler, GA; grandson; Joseph Taylor of Houston, TX; great granddaughter; Hannah Brewer, great grandson; Connor Etheridge, great grandson; Ronan Etheridge, great grandson; Aiden Lightle, great grandson; Lincoln Lightle, brother; Joe Townsend of Porter, TX; sister; Joyce Eubanks and her husband Jerry of Enterprise, LA; sister; Irma Clifton and her husband Bobby Clifton of Cleveland, TX; brother; Donnie his wife Terri Townsend of Jonesville, LA.
Pallbearers will be JR Skains, James Skains, Justin Eubanks, Grover Williams, Jacob Lightle and Jesse Wiley.
