Funeral services for Charlotte McKnight Jones, 84, of Jonesville, La will be held at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at 10:00 AM with Bro. Joel Ford Officiating. Interment will follow to Heard Cemetery in Manifest, LA under the directions of Young's Funeral Home.

Charlotte was born on Saturday, July 30, 1938, in Rayville, LA and passed away on June 22, 2023 in Jena, LA. She was Mrs. Sassy and her sassiness will be missed.

She is reunited with her husband, Arthur Dixon Jones; parents, Frank McKnight and Ellie Avant McKnight; and a host of siblings.

Those left behind to cherish Charlotte's memories are her son, Wayne Jones & his wife Wendy; daughter, Ruth Descant & her husband Rob; grandchildren, Angie Wilson & her husband Gregg, Chasidy Mitchell & her husband Byron, Leona Jones, Dustin Jones & his wife Erica, and Mackenzie Descant; great-grandchildren, Connor, Blake & his wife Avery, Sam, Brianna, Matthew, Brandon, Preston, Nathan, Sophia, and Hunter; and great-great-grandsons, Christian, Sawyer, and Brayden.

Those honoring Charlotte as pallbearers are her great-grandsons: Connor, Blake, Sam, Matthew, Brandon, Preston, Nathan, and Hunter.

Honorary pallbearers are her great-great-grandsons, Christian, Sawyer, and Brayden.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church.

The family will receive friends at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church on Sunday, June 25, 2023 from 9AM until service time at 10AM.
