Obituary for Christopher Mills
A celebration of life for Christopher Paul Mills, Jr., 46, of New Orleans, LA will be held at Enola in Waterproof, LA with his family and friends on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 2PM, He will be laid to rest at a later date in Natchez City Cemetery.
Paul was born on Thursday, June 27, 1974 in New Orleans, LA. and passed away Saturday, April 03, 2021 in Ferriday, LA. He was born and raised in New Orleans his entire life, but spent the last year during covid lockdown with his father and step-mother at Enola in Waterproof, LA.
Paul was an accomplished artist, who studied at Savannah School of Art and Design, and continued creating till his death. An excellent lead guitarist with his band in New Orleans.
He enjoyed his career as what he referred to as a "Line Cook" for some of the best chefs in New Orleans. A devoted scholar of the politics and strategy of wars from ancient to present and has amassed an extensive collection of books on these subjects.
Paul was a devoted father to his son, Jake, who was the center of his world, receiving his undivided attention. He was an extremely kind and gentle person to all that he met and will be sadly missed by all that knew him and will never, ever be forgotten.
Paul leaves behind his mother, Susan Monroe; father, Chris Mills & his wife Ann; sister, Ayme Hopkins; son, Jake Mills; best friend, Megan Hoffman; maternal grandmother, Janet Golson.
