Obituary for Clarence Mason
Funeral services for Clarence Dewayne "Boo" Mason, 64, of Harrisonburg, LA will be held at Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 2PM with Bro. Nathan Roark officiating. Interment will follow at Harrisonburg Cemetery, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Boo was born on Friday, November 07, 1958 in Jonesville, LA and passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023 at his home. He was a jack of all trades, from working in the oilfield, on a boat, truck driving, farming, and so much more. Boo's favorite was being a cowboy and he loved his horses. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Jettie Hutto Mason and Bert Mason and maternal grandparents, Laura Henderson Holloway and Ora Floyd Holloway.
Those left behind to cherish Boo's memories are his significant other, Pam "Mama" Cay; parents, Sam M. Mason and Cheristean "Teany" Holloway Mason; daughter, Bree "Goose" Netherland & her husband Tyler "Big T"; son, Derick "Big Boy" Mason & his fiance' Dawson "Little D" Vinson; step-children, Vernon "Boo" Breland & his significant other Brittany "Windy" Guidry; Johnnie "Bro" Breland, Steven "Dudes" Winborne; step-grandchildren, Dakota Breland, Christopher Weeks, McKenna Breland, Eli Breland, Cayden Breland, Cayli Winborne, Carmin Winborne, and Carli Winborne; and granddogs, Zeus, Lucy Loo, Sassy, Oakley, and Mileaux.
Those left honoring Boo as pallbearers will be Johnnie Breland, Tyler Netherland, Josh Sanson, Joe Holloway, Harold Sones, and David Vinson.
Honorary pallbearers are Jamie Vidrine, Byron Garner, Dewey Sanson, and Vernon "Boo" Breland.
The family will receive friends at Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville on Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 1PM until service time at 2PM.
