Dorothy Aliene White Coley, 91, of Mayna, LA, affectionately known by family and friends as "Aunt Dart". She was born on Tuesday, May 27, 1930 in Mayna, LA and passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 in Jena, LA. She lived her entire life on the family farm. Dorothy was a lifetime member of Mayna Church of God. She received certification from Louisiana State University for School Cafeteria Management, and she was employed for over 40 years with the Catahoula Parish Schools, managing the cafeterias at Jonesville Elementary and Block High School. Dorothy lived her life devoted to God, her two children, and her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Edward Coley, Sr.; grandson, Ernest Ray Coley; beloved daughter-in-law, Jeanette Patten Coley; parents, Albert Clay White, Sr. and Mary Jane Belgard White; her ten siblings: brothers, Joseph, Frank, Sam, and Clay White and sisters, Annie, Mabel, and Ruby White, Elizabeth Trisler, Martha McIntyre, and Bertha Murrell.

Dorothy leaves behind her daughter, Lynda Richardson & her husband Michael; son, Ernest Edward "Eddie" Coley, Jr.; grandsons, Dr. Jason Richardson and Grant Coley; great-granddaughters, Sadie Coley and Keegan Randall; sister-in-law, Jo White.

Those honoring Dorothy as pallbearers are Gary White, Carl Pecanty, John Pecanty, Michael Trisler, Glynn McNeely, and Lank Bass.

Honorary pallbearers will be Shelby Trisler, James Murrell, and Sean Bordelon.

Funeral services for Dorothy will be held at Mayna Church of God on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 11AM with Rev. Steve Abercrombie, Dr. Jason Richardson, Grant Coley, and Rev. Lloyd Trisler officiating. Interment will follow at Palo Alto Cemetery, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Mayna Church of God on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from10AM until service time at 11AM
