Dottie was born on February 14, 1948 in Jonesville, LA and passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022. She was a lifelong member of Mayna Church of God and grew up in the Mayna community. In her younger days, Dottie was a hard worker and loved farming with her family. She could drive heavy equipment with the best of them. She loved to hunt, play basketball and volleyball, and she played to win! She really enjoyed watching her grandchildren play ball and was their biggest fan, following them everywhere, even to the Little League World Series in Delaware. More recently, you could often find her outside, pulling grass from her flower beds and she loved a good garage sale. Dottie and Gary spent many hours traveling, sometimes on their trike and loved visiting antique car shows. She played piano and sang in church and taught Sunday school. She dearly loved her family and friends and was quick with a laugh and a kind word for anyone she met. She was known for her warm personality, and she was a firecracker, small but mighty!

She was preceded in death by her father, Mitchell Trisler; mother, Eunice Trisler; brother, Booger Trisler and son, Scotty McNeely.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Martin; daughters, Lori Jackson and husband Tim, and Becky Walters and husband Ronnie; son, Tracy Martin and wife Lori; grandchildren, Maura Franks and husband Wyatt, Cole Cooper and fiancé Gentry McDonald, Brett Martin and wife Dallas, Braden Martin and wife Morgan, Brooklyn Wilson and husband Ethan, Andrew Walters and wife Katie, Alex and spouse Walker, Gracie and fiancé Cameron and Lucas Walters; several great-grandchildren; three brothers, Dickie Trisler and wife Joy, Dada Trisler and wife Letta, and Billy Trisler; two sisters, Rhnea Bryan and husband Ricky and Ann Diggs and husband Thomas and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Trisler, Tony McNeely, Cole Cooper, Lucas Walters, Andrew Walters, Brett Martin, Jeffrey Trisler, and Wyatt Franks.
