Funeral services for Elias Anthony Vazquez, of Ferriday, LA will be held at Sunnyside Church in Foules, LA at 10AM on Saturday, March 25, 2023, with Pastor Jerry Sharp officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Elias Anthony Vazquez was born on Friday, March 17, 2023, in Houston, TX. and passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Texas Children’s Hospital.
Although Elias wasn’t in this world for long. He was loved and cherished by many. He knew nothing but a perfect life and love from his parents. Our sweet baby boy is now in Heaven waiting for us. We love you Elias a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Chase Skipper, great-grandfather, Raymond Skipper, great-grandmothers, June Skipper, great-grandfather, Miguel Rodriguez, and his great-grandfather, Louis Smith.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Jose and Madison Vazquez of Ferriday, LA, grandparents, Kevin and Linda Skipper of Foules, LA, grandparents, Omeira and Edgar Torres of Ferriday, LA, grandparents, Jose and Delia Vazquez of Dallas, TX, his aunts, Heather and Ronald Powers, Corrie and JD Beville, Ragde Torres, Adilene Torres, uncles, Edgar Torres, Clio Vazquez, Noah Skipper, great-grandparents, Sergio and Rosa Colunga, Antonio and Adela Torres, Jose Vazquez, Carolina Geuvara, great-grandmother, Hanna DarDar and a host of extended family members.
Those honoring Elias as pallbearers will be Jose Vazquez III, Jose Vazquez Jr., Kevin Skipper, and Edgar Torres.
