Funeral services for George Melvin Carrico, Jr., 69 of Aimwell, LA will be Friday December16, 2022 at Young's Funeral Home - Jonesville, LA with Bro. Eddie Davis officiating. The family will receive friends Friday morning before the service from 9 am until 10 am. Interment will follow at Three Sister's Cemetery, in Jonesville, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home - Jonesville.
George Melvin Carrico, Jr. was born on Monday, August 31, 1953 in Jonesville, LA. and passed away Monday, December 12, 2022 at his home. He lived in Aimwell, LA. George was a loving son, brother, father and his most important role was being a grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Melvin Carrico; nephew, Craig Mayo; and niece Haley Saltaformaggio.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Martha Tarver of Aimwell; two daughters Shanna Denise Carrico and Kacie Carrico Boyette and her husband Jamison all of Jonesville; grandchildren, Kelsey Carrico of West Monroe, Blaine Bass, Camden Bass, Grayson Boyette, Kaplan Boyette and Oakley Boyette all of Jonesville; sisters Annette Mayo and husband Johnny of Harrisonburg, Karron Miller and husband Jim of Baton Rouge, and Jeannie Saltaformaggio and husband Vince of Mandeville.
Pallbearers will be Grayson Boyette, Michael Saltaformaggio, Joshua Mayo, Eddie Jolly, T.I. Jolly and Doyle Watson.
