Funeral services for Horace "H.J." Jason Tomlinson, 73, of Harrisonburg, LA will be held at Wallace Ridge Pentecostal Church at 2PM on Saturday, November 14, 2020 with Bro. Rusty Hathcock, Bro. John Holloway, Bro. Tyler Stevison, and Bro. David Anders officiating. Interment will follow at Heard Cemetery in Manifest, LA under the direction of Young's Funeral Home - Jonesville.
H.J. was born on Wednesday, April 9, 1947 in Harrisonburg, LA and passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 in Zachary, LA.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Ford Tomlinson; his parents, Horace Jefferson Tomlinson & Annie Henderson Tomlinson; and two brothers, James Austin Tomlinson and Jefferson Ray Tomlinson.
H.J. leaves behind his wife, Katie Ruth Boothe Tomlinson of Harrisonburg, LA; daughter, Missy Tomlinson Hathcock & her husband Rusty of Terrell, TX; son, Jason Tomlinson & his wife Tiffany of Harrisonburg, LA; grandchildren, Hilary Anders & her husband David, Lindsey Hathcock, Kinsey Harris, and Wyatt Harris all of Terrell, TX, Alexis Tomlinson, Ali Tomlinson of Harrisonburg, LA; great-grandchildren, Bentley Anders, Brady Anders, and Stetson Harris; step-children, Jessie Gordon, Jr. & his wife Annie of Shepard, TX, Charlie Gordon of Harrisonburg, LA, Tim Gordon & his wife Haley of Jonesville, LA, and Janet Gordon of Fort Worth, TX; step-grandchildren, Justin Gordon of Shepard, TX, Noah Gordon and Amanda Gordon of Little Rock, AR, Cheyenne Gordon of Amarillo, TX, Samuel Wilson of Telito, OR, Harley Gordon of Wagoner, OK, and Addie Gordon of Jonesville, LA; step-great-grandchildren, J.R. Gordon, Sarah Gordon, Seth Gordon, and Odin Johnson; and two sisters, Muriece Randall of Jena, LA and Eva Mason of Heflin, LA. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Darrell Randall, Jr. Lea, Bobby Randall, Charlie Mason, Wyatt Harris, and Branton Crawford.
Honorary pallbearers are Charlie Gordon, Tim Gordon, Jessie Gordon, Jeffery Tomlinson, Jimmy Tomlinson, and Brian Tomlinson.
