Obituary for James Crouch
Funeral service for James Miller Crouch, 79, of Monterey, LA will be held at Eva Church of God on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 11AM with Bro. Tony Ganey officiating. Interment will follow to Eva Church of God Cemetery, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
James was born on Wednesday, July 28, 1943 in Eva, LA and passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was a hard worker and spent many years as a heavy equipment operator. James was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to fish, hunt, garden, softball, and to box. He loved spending time with his kids on the lake, riding 4-wheelers, and enjoying being with them.
He is reunited with his parents, Kory Albert Crouch and Mahalie Herron Crouch; brother, Roswell Crouch, sister, Mary Jane Reeves & her husband Armin Jr., brothers, Phillip "Jackie" Crouch, Wayne Crouch, Jimmy Lee Crouch, Don Crouch, Kory Albert Crouch, Jr., and Charles Raymond Crouch; and brothers-in-law, Maurice Stinson and Alton Waller.
James leaves behind his daughter, Lisa Meche; sons, James Rodney "Hook" Crouch & his wife CeCe and Michael Crouch & his wife Becky; special son, James Aaron "Buck" Ritman; grandchildren, Kory Crouch, Heather Stevens, Dustin Leavins & his wife Sabrina, Jesse Leavins & his wife Brittany, Macee Crouch, Marlee Crouch, Gavin Pecanty, Matt Pecanty, and Layne Crouch; sister, Edith Stinson, Carlos Crouch, Glenda Waller, and Joseph Lee Crouch; sisters-in-law, Minnie Sue Crouch and Donna Crouch; and seven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Those honoring James as pallbearers are Albert Crouch, Darrell Brigman, Hart Tiffee, Tom Tiffee, Red Tiffee, and Jeremy Bryan.
Honorary pallbearer will be Ralph Hill.
The family will receive friends at Eva Church of God Cemetery on Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 10AM until service time at 11AM.
