A memorial service for Jerry R. Watson, 73, of Vidalia, LA will be held at Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 2PM with Bro. Josh Walker officiating, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Jerry was born on Friday, March 07, 1947 in Wisner, LA and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. Jerry enjoyed wood working in his work shed. He was an outdoorsman, who loved hunting and fishing, but most of all he enjoyed the time with his family. Jerry's happiest moments were in the presence of his family. He was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, friend, and so much more, and will be dearly missed by everyone that had the opportunity of knowing him.
He is reunited with his father, Wolf Watson; mother, Minnie Lee Adams & her husband WP; and his grandson, Bryce Lescault.
He leaves behind the love of his life of 51 years, Marie Stewart Watson of Vidalia, LA; two daughters, Shiela K. Young & her husband Paul of Pass Christian, MS and Bridget N. Pavlick & her husband Robert "Pav" of Summerville, SC; two brothers, Robert L. Watson and Donald W. Watson both of Clayton, LA; three grandchildren, Brit Fiori Maciel, Haden Williamson, and Cierra Lescault; soon to be great-grandson, Luciano "Lui" Fiori Maciel; nephew, Robert "Bubba" Watson; niece, Jennifer Watson; and his special buddy, Liam. Jerry leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, close family, and friends.
Those honoring Jerry as honorary pallbearers will be Pedro Fiori Maciel, Paul Young, Pav Pavlick, Josh Walker, Stuart Boykin, and Kenny House.
