Funeral services for Jessie Thomas Morace, Jr., 76, of Ferriday, LA will be held at Lismore Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 28,2022 at 2PM with Bro. Ken Gilmore, Bro. CD Beard, and Bro. Richard Cullens officiating. Interment will follow to Lismore Baptist Church Cemetery, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Jessie was born on May 19, 1946 in Ferriday, LA and passed away on December 24, 2022 in Vidalia, LA.
He is reunited with his wife, Sharon Ann Morace; parents, Jessie Thomas Morace, Sr. and Bessie Hamilton Morace; great-grandson, Luther Anderson Morace; sisters, Marie Dickson, Barbara Hewlett, Gerladine Paulk, Elaine Guranies, Camile Morace, and Sadie Mae Morace; and brother, Troy Morace.
Jessie leaves behind his daughter, Dede Morace Ashley & her husband Buddy of Natchez, MS; son, Jessie Charles Morace of Ferriday, LA; grandchildren, Jessie Morace, Sara Morace & Sam, Heather Burr & her husband Austin, Leslie Lowery & her husband Trey, Dexter Morace, Judson Ashley & his wife Brooke, and Duncan Ashley & his wife Lauren; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Phoenix, Amelia, and Jessica, Jasper, and Greyson Morace, Layla and Aubree Burr, Nehemiah Nunez, Luke Rice, Laiklyn Lowery, Benton, Kole, Wayne, and Mazzy Ashley; sister, Betty Powers of Deville, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Those honoring Jessie as pallbearers are his family and friends.
Honorary pallbearer is Richie Dickson.
The family will receive friends at Lismore Baptist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 1PM until service time at 2PM.
