Jimmie Lee Adams passed away in January 2022. Jimmie Adams was born in Bude, Mississippi July 6, 1939 to the late parents of Alex Adams, Sr. and Rosilee Walker Adams. he was 82 years old.
He graduated from Sevier High School and attended Grambling College. After discharging from the army in 1975 where he served in the Vietnam war he settled in Flint, Michigan. Jimmie worked for General Motors until he moved back to Ferriday, Louisiana. He was a very active member of Saint Mark Baptist church in Clayton, La. Jimmie enjoyed being a deacon, cooking and his family.
He is survived by his daughter Pamela Denise Adams King (Chad King), granddaughters Kayla and Kyra, grandson Kenneth, great grandson Neo, sister Andrean Robbins (Willie), brother Freddie Adams (Carol), and best friend, James Watkins.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Saul Adams and L.C. Adams and Alex Adams, Jr. and sister Bertha Jackson.
Graveside service for Jimmie will be held at Natchez National Cemetery on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11am, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
