Graveside services for Joe Harrell, 83 of Clayton, LA will be held at Legion Memorial Cemetery on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 10:00 AM with Bro. Jerry Sharp officiating under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.

Joe Harrell was born on Saturday, August 05, 1939, in Clayton, LA and passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Franklin Medical Center. He was a resident of Clayton and a lifelong member of Vidalia First Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. Joe currently attended Sunnyside Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dode and Ella Harrell; wife, Julia Ann Harrell; brother, Hansford Harrell and daughter, Mary Ann Walker.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Teri Lynn Terrell and her husband Mark of Adolphus, KY; son, Bill Harrell and his wife Leslie of Clayton, LA; daughter, Cindy Roberts and her husband Randy of Clayton, LA; sister, Katie Lou Kelly of Salinas, CA; brother, Martin Allen Harrell of Hendersonville, TN; brother, Charles Thomas Harrell and his wife Susan of Covington, LA; brother, Mickey Ronald Harrell and his wife Marsha of Baytown, TX; 6 grandsons, Steve Terrell and wife Bridget, Chris Harrell and wife Sherry, Cody Roberts and wife Katie, Blake Terrell and wife Katie, Elijah Harrell and wife Chelsea and Joey Roberts and wife Emilee; 5 Granddaughters, Calley and husband Danny Reed, Jessica and husband Huseyin Semerci, Paige and husband Chad Willliams, Micah and husband Gabe Nelson and Faith and husband Austin Walker and 29 great-grandchildren, Kelsie and Josie Terrell, Tugra and Tugce Semerci, Raina Terrell, Josiah, Carlos, Yamilet, Isaac, Amaus, Camila, Salem, Chapel, Cedar and Olive Reed, Taylor and Connor Paul, Levi, Timothy and Titus Harrell, Israel, Julia and Ezekiel Nelson, Aubrey and Isaiah Harrell, Connor and Caroline Roberts, Sadie and Charlie Roberts and Walker and Jax Williams. He is also survived by 1 great-great granddaughter, Grace Lee Hathcock.
