Graveside service for Ann Adams Creel, 83, of Frisco, Texas will be Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Heard Cemetery in Manifest , LA at 1 PM with Dr. Patrick Willis officiating. The service is under the direction of Young's Funeral Home-Jonesville, LA.
Mrs. Creel was born August 20, 1937 in Jonesville, LA and passed away March 24, 2021 in Frisco, TX. She had been a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Monroe, LA since 1962. She taught Sunday School for over 30 years and enjoyed teaching all of the ladies in her class. She earned bachelor and master degrees from Northeast State College, now known as ULM. She was the school librarian at Ouachita Junior High School in Monroe for 36 years. She loved children and thoroughly enjoyed teaching and being around them. She had great pride in her career as a librarian and served others by instilling a love of reading.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward L. Creel, Jr. and parents, Temple Adams and Nancy Laffoon Adams.
Ann leaves behind a son, Eddie Creel of Arlington, TX, daughter, Celeste Berlien and husband, Jack Berlien of Plano, TX; two grandsons, John Berlien and wife Lauren Berlien of McKinney, TX, and grandson, Matthew Berlien of Plano, TX; and a great-granddaughter, Autumn Berlien; brother, Bud Adams and wife, Patty Adams; nephew, Joe Adams and niece Amy Shelden.
