Obituary for Kathleen Dalrymple
Graveside service for Anna Kathleen Dalrymple, 81, of Monterey, LA will be held at Dalrymple Family Cemetery on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 11AM, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Kathleen was born on Friday, November 01, 1940 in Ferriday, LA and passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022 at her daughter's home surrounded by loved ones. She was a member of Monterey Church of Christ. Anna retired as a Kindergarten teacher in Concordia Parish after 30 plus years. She loved her family and friends especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren .
She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren Swingley Cross and Mary Jane Holland Cross and her husband, James Robert Dalrymple.
Surviving her are two daughters, Teresa Lipsey & her husband Jan of Monterey, LA and Jane Tucker and her husband Robert of Pelahatchie, MS; four sons, Eric Ellard & his wife Jenny of Friendswood, TX, John Dalrymple & his wife Sheila of Fort Morgan, CO, Jim A. Dalrymple & his wife Bobbie of Klamath Falls, OR; and Gene Dalrymple & his wife Kathy of Fort Morgan, CO; daughter, Karen Stewart & her husband Mike of Evergreen, CO; brother, Warren Swingley "Butch" Cross, Jr. of Monterey, LA; sister, Madaline Cross Gibbs of Ferriday, LA; 20 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
Those honoring Mrs. Kathleen as pallbearers are Joshua Lipsey, Eric Dryg, Ian Dryg, Matthew Dalrymple, Mark Dalrymple, and Warren Ellard.
