Obituary for Kimberly Smith Melton
Funeral services for Kimberly "Kim" Ann Smith Melton, 40, of Ferriday, LA will be held at Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday, LA on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 1PM with Bro. Jeremy Mullins and Jack Melton officiating. Interment will follow at Legion Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Kim was born on Wednesday, October 28, 1981 in Natchez, MS and passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022 in Vicksburg, MS. She enjoyed arts and crafts, but more importantly she loved spending time with her nieces, nephews, and family.
She was preceded in death by parents, Howell Smith and Georgia Fair Smith and brother, Heith Allen Smith.
Kim leaves behind her husband, Mack Melton of Ferriday, LA; sister, Amy Lucas & her husband Jonathan of Jonesville, LA; nieces and nephews, Destiny Lucas, Aidan Scribber, Skyler Scribber, Jonathan "JB" Lucas, Mikayla Smith Coley & her husband Matthew, Marley Smith, Hannah Smith, Landon Heith Allen, Sophie Bryant, Blake Irvin, and Bailey Irvin; great-niece and nephews, Chloe, Remmy, and Gunnar Heith Coley; father and mother-in-law, Jack and Ann Melton; three sisters-in-law, Misty Bryant, Beth Irvin & her husband Brad, and Monica Smith; and her beloved dog, Leroy.
Those honoring Kim as pallbearers will be William Moffit, Weston Moffit, Logan Moffit, Blake Irvin, Matthew Coley, and JC Rushing.
Honorary pallbearer is Stacey Fowler.
The family will receive friends at Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 11AM until service time at 1PM.
