Obituary for Kirby King
Funeral services for James Kirby King, 66 of Jonesville, LA will be held at Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville at 11 AM on Thursday, April 1 with Bro. David Carlton officiating. Interment will follow at King's Family Cemetery in Stacey under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Kirby was born on Wednesday, September 08, 1954, in Jonesville, LA and passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at his home surrounded by those who loved him. He was a resident of Jonesville, where he spent many years driving a school bus for the parish. He was retired from the Catahoula Parish Sherriff's office. He was a man of many talents and loved his family and friends with everything he had. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by: his brother, Kernie Wayne King; son, Rodney Williams; granddaughter, Payton Williams
Those left to cherish his memory are: his wife; Kay King of Jonesville, LA; his parents, J.R. and Kathleen King of Jonesville, LA; daughter, Kacie Boyette her husband Jamison of Dunbarton, LA; daughter, Kacie Childers her husband Travis of Fayetteville, NC; daughter, Shea Boothe of Marksville, LA; son, Kalon King and his wife Rachel of Jonesville, LA; son, Kyle King and his wife Chelsey of Jonesville, LA, and fifteen grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ken King, Ronnie King, Devin King, Ricky Morris, Jesse Wiley, and Grayson Boyette.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Ben King, Leland Landry, Gary Ray, and Barry Ford,
