Funeral services for Robert Earl Thompson, 81, of Vidalia, LA will be held at Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 2PM with Bro. Denny Braswell officiating. Interment will follow at Roger's Cemetery in Clayton, LA, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Robert was born on Thursday, November 20, 1941 in Newellton, LA and passed away Monday, September 11, 2023 in Baton Rouge, LA.
He is reunited with his wife, Earlene Kirkland Thompson; parents, Fredrick Noel Thompson and Ruby Purvis Thompson; and brothers, Buddy Thompson, Fred Thompson, Kent Thompson, and James Thompson.
