Bony was born on Tuesday, July 09, 1957, in Ferriday, LA. and passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at his home in Dunbarton surrounded by his family. With a heart as robust as the machinery he mastered, he toiled relentlessly in the oilfields for decades, tackling every job with unyielding determination. His hands, calloused from years of labor, mirrored a life dedicated to hard work and perseverance outside the rig, he found solace in fiddling and fixing, a testament to his innate ability to mend not just machines but also hearts.

A true outdoorsman, Bony reveled in tending to his yard, cultivating a manicured haven after retirement. Beneath the tough exterior lay a caring soul, ever ready to extend a helping hand. His compassion shone brightest during his selfless care for those on their deathbeds, embodying a sentimentality that endeared him to many. In the breath of life, Bony's memory, like the oilfield winds, will echo in the hearts of those who knew him. He is survived by cherished memories and a legacy of hard work, compassion, and resilience.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy, and Katie Lee Tarver.

Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Jeremy Tarver of Denver, CO, Dustin Tarver (Heather) of Denver, CO; grandson, Justyce Lee Jaxson Tarver of Denver, CO, granddaughters, Molly Lee Tarver and Katie Mae Tarver of Denver, CO; brother, Donald Tarver (Stephanie) of Marion, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Those honoring Bony as pallbearers are Tommy Decker, Edward Franklin "Buckwheat", Brock Halford, John Harper, Matt Tarver, and Braden Tarver .
