Services for Teresa Kay Boothe Burnette will be held Sunday, October 11th, 2020 at Youngs’ Funeral Home in Jonesville, LA . Viewing will be from 12PM to 2PM, with the service starting at 2PM. Interment will follow at the Joe Boothe Cemetery, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Teresa Kay Boothe Burnette born on December 20th, 1952 in Harrisonburg, passed on October 5, 2020 surrounded by her family. Teresa will forever be remembered as an incredibly intelligent and lively individual with a heart of gold. Always willing to help anyone she came across and provide them with all the love and care she could. She spent the rest of her days helping with her Grandchildren. She was always more than willing to spend time with them and care for them. They were her heart. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched. A soul that will be welcomed with open arms in the kingdom of heaven and the open embrace of the lord. She prepared for this day by going to church and accepting Jesus Christ as her Savior.
She lives on through her two living sons Dustin and Damon Burnette along with her beloved grandchildren Damon Jr., Donovan and Daxton Burnette. She is preceded in death by her parents C.C. “Bill” Boothe and Audrey Bass Boothe, her siblings Hilton Boothe, Carlene Boothe, Celia Boothe, and Larry Boothe. She left behind a sibling Billy Caleb Boothe and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Dustin Burnette, Damon Burnette Jr., Damon Burnette Sr., Donovan Burnette, Robert Kyle Alagood and Michael Parker.
