Obituary for Tommy Kennon

Memorial services for Tommy Joe Kennon, 36, of Natchez, MS will be held at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday on April 7, at 1PM with John Crist officiating under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Tommy Joe Kennon was born on October 24, 1986, in Vicksburg, MS. and passed away March 31, 2023 in Vidalia, LA. He was a resident of Natchez, MS. Tommy was a friend’s friend, through and through, whether it was helping you install speakers in your vehicle or getting stuck with you in a mud hole, it was going to be a good time. He enjoyed fishing and being outside when he could in between hitches and construction jobs. Tommy knew what a hard day’s work was and didn’t shy away from having a good time with those he loved. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Johnnie Robert Grey Jr., uncle, Randy Grey and his stepfather, Mickey Stevens.

Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Nathan William Kennon Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, mother, Robbie Stevens of Natchez, MS, son, Caden Robert Kennon of Georgia, daughter, Azalea, brother, Joshua Kennon of Jacksonville, FL, brother, Christopher Kennon of Jacksonville, FL, brother, Johnnie Stevens of Natchez, MS, grandmother, Mertis Grey, grandparents, Nathan and Catherine Kennon Sr., uncles, Joel Kennon, Jason Kennon, Rick Grey, Robert Grey, aunts, Sandra Brown, Cristy Grey and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Brad Welch, Hank Cockerham, Woody Wagley, Taylor Kirby, Cody McJohnson, Shawn Ward, John Maier, Garrett Lee, Colton Egloff, Johnnie Minor, Bo Graham, Brandon Trahern, Brandon Roberts, Rayshawn Hawkins, Clay Walker, Sam Houston, Shane Dunigan, Bubba White, Rodney French and Jarrod Crist.
