Funeral services for Tommy Roberts, 71, of Natchez, MS will be held at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday, LA on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 2PM. Interment will follow at New Pine Hill Cemetery in Sicily Island, LA, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Tommy was born on Friday, May 11, 1951 in Winnsboro, LA and passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 in Alexandria, LA. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting and fishing, and loved listening to his country music. Tommy loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, they were his world. Tommy had a big heart and would do whatever he could to help anyone. Sharing stories was his big thing to do while everyone sat around, and anyone who knew him, knew he loved his beer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Roberts and Mae Golman Roberts; brother, Little Joe Roberts; brothers, James Marvin Roberts and Larry Lynn Roberts; and special friend, George Smith and Aaron Vestal.
Tommy leaves behind his daughter, Susan Roberts Givens & her husband Leslie; daughter, Heather Roberts Johnese & Wayne Nettles; son, Jason Exelby & Melissa Marshall; daughter, Danielle Roberts Lively all of Natchez, MS; grandchildren, Leslie Ray & his wife Katie, Savannah Bedford, Alyssa Exelby, Christopher Harper, II, Jazmin Harper, Jacob Harper, Blake Loyed and Tyler Loyed; great-grandchildren, Denim, Raylya Mae, Noah, Isabelle, Kaiden and Serenity; brother, Ronnie Roberts & his wife Mary Roberts of Chesapeake, Virginia; and special friend, Joe Nunnery.
Those honoring Tommy as pallbearers are Jason Exelby, Christopher Harper, Jacob Harper, Reggie Walker, Leslie Givens, Michael Roberts, Greg Roberts, and Wayne Nettles.
Honorary pallbearer will be Pat Smith.
